Frontier Mustangs (Red Rock, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hammon Warriors (Hammon, OK), 7-2 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 21-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mulhall-Orlando for a Class B challenge on Thursday, September 7. Frontier will face a Panthers squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Kremlin-Hillsdale (Kremlin, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Hammon falls to 14-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Waukomis (Waukomis, OK) to face the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 8. The Chiefs enter the challenge with a record of 8-1. Waukomis won 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairview (Fairview, OK)
