Louisiana Bulldogs (Louisiana, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Van-Far Indians (Vandalia, MO), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Montgomery County for a Eastern Missouri challenge on Saturday, September 9. Louisiana will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Wright City (Wright City, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Van-Far falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Monroe City (Monroe City, MO) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 11. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Monroe City won 13-0 in their recent league challenge against Palmyra (Palmyra, MO)
