Oklahoma High School Softball - Porter gets by Okmulgee

The Porter Pirates (Porter, OK) softball nipped the visiting Okmulgee Bulldogs (Okmulgee, OK), 17-16 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Pirates (9-17) will now prepare for their bout against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK). The Pirates go into the non-league bout with a 8-9 record. In their last bout, Locust Grove was edged by Miami (Miami, OK), 18-0, in a non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 4-15 record. They play next when they travel to Spiro for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Okmulgee will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Wister (Wister, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-11.
