The Mules now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Naylor for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 14. Poplar Bluff will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 25-0 league loss to Neelyville (Neelyville, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Van Buren falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Norwood (Norwood, MO) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 12. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Norwood won 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Dadeville (Dadeville, MO)
