The Alexandria Valley Cubs topped the host Pike Road Patriots volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Valley Cubs now have a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oxford for a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. Alexandria will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cleburne County (Heflin, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 8-1.

The Patriots (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL). The Aggies enter the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Sylacauga gained a win over Shelby County (Columbiana, AL), 3-0, in a league test.
