In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Marion County Red Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Berry Wildcats.

The Red Raiders (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Sulligent (Sulligent, AL). The Blue Devils come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Sulligent lost by South Lamar (Millport, AL), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL) in a 1A Area 9 battle, on Thursday, September 7. Berry will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Tornadoes come into the battle with a 3-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Greensboro (Greensboro, AL).
