Illinois High School Volleyball - Princeville edged by Biggsville West Central

The Biggsville West Central Heat volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Princeville Princes to 1 in the Heat league victory on Thursday.

The Heat now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] for a Lincoln Trail game on Monday, September 11. Biggsville West Central will meet a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Monmouth United (Monmouth, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 2-9.

The Princes (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL). The Flying Geese enter the Lincoln Trail game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Wethersfield held off Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
