With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Fighting Tigers host Greer Middle College (Taylors, SC) to play the Blazers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 13. The Blazers go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

The Vikings now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to James F. Byrnes for a AAAAA Region 2 bout on Tuesday, September 12.
