California High School Volleyball - Modesto over Central Valley

Modesto Panthers (Modesto, CA) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Central Valley Hawks (Ceres, CA), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Downey Knights (Modesto, CA) in a Central California - CCAL match, on Wednesday, September 13. Modesto will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 4-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Tracy (Tracy, CA).

With the loss, Central Valley drops to 2-8 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Buhach Colony (Atwater, CA) to battle the Thunder in a Central California Conference match on Monday, September 11. The Thunder come into the match with a record of 3-5. Buhach Colony lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against El Capitan (Merced, CA)
