In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Coalinga Horned Toads volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Wonderful College Prep Academy Lions.

The Horned Toads (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sanger West (Fresno, CA). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Sanger West achieved victory over Madera South (Madera, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions clash with the Trona Tornadoes (Trona, CA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 9. Wonderful College Prep Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Tornadoes come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lone Pine (Lone Pine, CA).
