The Nodaway Valley Wolverines volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Des Moines East Scarlets to 1 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Thursday.

The Wolverines now have a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest Valley for a Pride of Iowa game on Tuesday, September 12. Nodaway Valley will confront a team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA). The record now stands at 4-5.

The Scarlets (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Perry (Perry, IA). The Bluejays enter the non-league game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Perry held off Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA), 3-1, in a league game.
