The East Chambers Buccaneers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Diboll Lumberjacks to 1 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Buccaneers now have a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burkeville for a non-league game on Thursday, September 7. East Chambers will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Apple Springs (Apple Springs, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-6.

The Lumberjacks (7-10) will now prepare for their game against Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX). The Hawks enter the non-league game with a 12-10 record. In their last game, Hardin-Jefferson was nudged by Livingston (Livingston, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
