The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Duxbury Dragons (Duxbury, MA) and the visiting Norwell Clippers (Norwell, MA), saw Duxbury's volleyball squad beat Norwell by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Duxbury upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Dragons travel to Plymouth South (Plymouth, MA) to play the Panthers in a Patriot bout on Monday, September 11. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Plymouth South won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Dennis-Yarmouth Regional (South Yarmouth, MA)

The Clippers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sandwich for a Cape and Islands bout on Tuesday, September 12. Norwell will meet a Blue Knights team coming off a 3-2 league win over Middleborough (Middleborough, MA). The Blue Knights record now stands at 1-1.
