The Lyndhurst Golden Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs to 0 in the Golden Bears league victory on Thursday.

The Golden Bears now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elmwood Park for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. Lyndhurst will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Saddle Brook (Saddle Brook, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-1.

The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Garfield (Garfield, NJ). The Boilermakers enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Garfield gained a win over Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology (Paterson, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league game.
