The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA) and the visiting Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA), saw Lake Mills's volleyball squad beat Eagle Grove by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Lake Mills upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Newman Catholic won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Rockford (Rockford, IA)
The Eagles now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host St. Edmond for a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. Eagle Grove will play a Gaels squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Algona (Algona, IA). The Gaels record now stands at 2-6.
