The New Milford Knights volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Eastern Christian Eagles to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Thursday.

The Knights now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wallington for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. New Milford will meet a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ridgefield Memorial (Ridgefield, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Mary Help of Christians Academy (North Haledon, NJ). The Blue Jays enter the North Jersey - Colonial game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Mary Help of Christians Academy nipped North Arlington (North Arlington, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league game.
