The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) and the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL), saw El Paso-Gridley's volleyball squad beat Lexington by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, El Paso-Gridley upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Titans travel to St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL) to play the Sabers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Sabers go into the bout with a record of 3-2. St. Thomas More lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL)

The Minutemen now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cornerstone Christian for a non-league bout on Monday, September 11. Lexington will play a Cyclones squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Unity Christian (Decatur, IL). The Cyclones record now stands at 7-3.
