New Jersey High School Volleyball - Garfield tips Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ) and the host Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions (Paterson, NJ), saw Garfield's volleyball squad nip Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Garfield upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Boilermakers host Dwight-Englewood (Englewood, NJ) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Dwight-Englewood lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Lyndhurst (Lyndhurst, NJ)

The Lions now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Park Ridge for a non-league bout on Friday, September 8. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology will play a Owls squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hasbrouck Heights (Hasbrouck Heights, NJ). The Owls record now stands at 1-0.
