The Somerset Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Glenwood City Hilltoppers to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.

The Spartans now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spring Valley for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. Somerset will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Clear Lake (Clear Lake, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-4.

The Hilltoppers (0-11) will now prepare for their game against Elk Mound (Elk Mound, WI). The Mounders enter the Dunn-St. Croix game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Elk Mound gained a win over Stanley-Boyd (Stanley, WI), 3-2, in a non-league game.
