Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN) backers left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Knoxville Central Bobcats (Knoxville, TN), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Grizzlies battle the Carter Green Hornets (Strawberry Plains, TN) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 8. Grainger will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Green Hornets come into the match with a 3-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Fulton (Knoxville, TN).

With the loss, Knoxville Central drops to 3-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Grace Christian Academy (Knoxville, TN) to battle the Rams in a non-league match on Monday, September 11. The Rams come into the match with a record of 7-15. Grace Christian Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY)
