The Pearl River Rebels volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Hammond Tornadoes to 1 in the Rebels non-league victory on Thursday.
The Rebels now have a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loranger for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Pearl River will confront a Wolves team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Doyle (Livingston, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 2-2.
The Tornadoes (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Christ Episcopal School dropped by St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
