In Thursday's non-league contest, the Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) volleyball squad nudged the host Henley Hornets (Klamath Falls, OR), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Miners battle the Mendocino Cardinals (Mendocino, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. Yreka will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Henley will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Honkers enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Powder Valley (North Powder, OR).
