In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Mineral Springs Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Jacksonville Lighthouse Wolves.
The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Nevada (Rosston, AR). The Blue Jays come into the 2A Central battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Nevada lost by Cutter-Morning Star (Hot Springs National Park, AR), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Wolves clash with the Taylor Tigers (Taylor, AR) in a 2A Central battle, on Tuesday, September 12. Jacksonville Lighthouse will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 8-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR).
