The Little Village Phoenix volleyball team (Chicago, IL), was nudged 2-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Kennedy Crusaders (Chicago, IL)

The Crusaders (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Kelly (Chicago, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Kelly was nudged by King (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Phoenix meet the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 8. Little Village will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL).
