Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Mid Valley over West Scranton

Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Forest City Foresters (Forest City, PA) in a Lackawanna match, on Tuesday, September 12. Mid Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Foresters come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA).

With the loss, West Scranton drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Invaders travel to Elk Lake (Dimock, PA) to battle the Warriors in a Lackawanna match on Tuesday, September 12. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 0-0.
