The Mount Ayr Raiders volleyball team (Mount Ayr, IA), went down 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA)

The Trojans (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Warhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Warren defeated Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders encounter the East Union Eagles (Afton, IA) in a Pride of Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Mount Ayr will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Central Decatur (Leon, IA).
