The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) and the visiting Princeton Eagles (Princeton, CA), saw Mt. Shasta's volleyball squad beat Princeton by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Mt. Shasta upgrades its record to 4-0 on the year. The Bears travel to Trinity (Weaverville, CA) to play the Wolves in a Shasta Cascade bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Trinity won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Anderson (Anderson, CA)

The Eagles now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to CORE Butte for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. Princeton will play a Lynx squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Gridley (Gridley, CA). The Lynx record now stands at 1-4.
