With the win, Parkersburg South upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Patriots travel to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Buckhannon-Upshur won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Riverside (Belle, WV)

The Crusaders now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tyler for a Little Kanawha bout on Tuesday, September 12.
