The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders (St. Cloud, MN) and the host Pierz Pioneers (Pierz, MN), saw St. Cloud Cathedral's volleyball squad nip Pierz by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, St. Cloud Cathedral upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Crusaders host Foley (Foley, MN) to play the Falcons in a Granite Ridge bout on Saturday, September 9. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-0. Foley won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Princeton (Princeton, MN)

The Pioneers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Royalton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. Pierz will play a Royals squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Kimball (Kimball, MN). The Royals record now stands at 7-4.
