The Pocahontas Indians volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers to 0 in the Indians league victory on Thursday.

The Indians now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newell-Fonda for a Twin Lakes game on Thursday, September 14. Pocahontas will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Sheldon (Sheldon, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-4.

The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA). The Warriors enter the Twin Lakes game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Alta-Aurelia was dropped by South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA), 3-1, in a league game.
