In Thursday's non-league contest, the West Ashley Wildcats (Charleston, SC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Stratford Knights (Goose Creek, SC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the First Baptist School Hurricanes (Charleston, SC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 11. West Ashley will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Hurricanes go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Northwood Academy (Charleston, SC).

With the loss, Stratford moves to 0-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to battle the Landsharks in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Landsharks go into the contest with a record of 6-2. Oceanside Collegiate Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC)
