Kentucky High School Volleyball - Western Waggener

September 7, 2023: Louisville, KY 40216

The Waggener Wildcats topped the host Western Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sacred Heart for a District 27 contest on Monday, September 11. Waggener will face a Valkyries squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL). The Valkyries record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, Western moves to 0-6 on the year. The Warriors travel to Butler (Louisville, KY) to face the Bears in a District 22 contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Bears go into the contest with a record of 3-11.
