The Casa Grande Gauchos football squad scored 49 points and limited the host Balboa Buccaneers to 0 in the Gauchos non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Gauchos now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rancho Cotate for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Casa Grande will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 24-6 non-league win over Redwood (Larkspur, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Balboa drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 1-1. St. Vincent de Paul lost 44-22 in their recent non-league test against Truckee (Truckee, CA)
