The Carlyle Indians/Lady Indians felled the visiting Tremont Turks football team by a score of 28-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Indians/Lady Indians face the Caruthersville Tigers (Caruthersville, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Carlyle will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 53-18 league win over Malden (Malden, MO).
The Turks (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Clinton (Clinton, IL). The Maroons go into the Heart of Central Illinois - Large challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Clinton toppled Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL), 35-7, in a non-league challenge.
