Texas High School Football - Channelview can't hold off MacArthur

September 7, 2024: Houston, TX 77039

MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Channelview Falcons (Channelview, TX), 14-13 in a non-league battle.

With the win, MacArthur improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Generals travel to West Brook (Beaumont, TX) to play the Bruins in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Bruins go into the battle with a record of 1-1. West Brook won 19-16 in their recent non-league battle against Lumberton (Lumberton, TX)

The Falcons now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Clear Creek for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Channelview will play a Wildcats team coming off a 34-6 non-league loss to Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
