Mesilla Valley Christian School SonBlazers (Las Cruces, NM) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Cloudcroft Bears (Cloudcroft, NM), 56-20 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Mesilla Valley Christian School advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The SonBlazers travel to Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM) to play the Chiefs in a 8-Man District 3 (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 13. The Chiefs go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Mescalero Apache lost 58-6 in their recent non-league battle against Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM)

The Bears now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Dulce for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. Cloudcroft will play a Hawks team coming off a 56-0 non-league loss to Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 0-3.
