In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan football squad scored a good 42-19 triumph over the St. Rita Mustangs.
The Caravan (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Nazareth Academy was beaten by Kenwood (Chicago, IL), 34-6, in a non-league bout.
The Mustangs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Brother Rice for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14.
