Colorado High School Football - Fossil Ridge defeats Rock Canyon

The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Fossil Ridge SaberCats (Fort Collins, CO) and the host Rock Canyon Jaguars (Highlands Ranch, CO), witnessed Fossil Ridge's football squad topple Rock Canyon by a count of 31-19.

The SaberCats (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Columbine (Littleton, CO). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Columbine thwarted Legend (Parker, CO), 31-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Jaguars confront the Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 12. Rock Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 36-12 non-league win over Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO).
