The Eagles now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chardon for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. St. Edward will meet a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 32-22 non-league loss to Avon Lake (Avon Lake, OH). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Huron drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Columbian (Tiffin, OH) to meet the Tornadoes in a non-league test on Saturday, September 21. The Tornadoes come into the test with a record of 0-1. Columbian lost 44-6 in their recent non-league test against St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH)
