Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), 8-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Joliet Central advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Steelmen host Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL) to clash with the Cougars in a test on Wednesday, September 11. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-2. Plainfield South lost 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL)

The Hornets now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Glenbard South for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14.
