The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mother McAuley Mighty Macs (Chicago, IL) and the visiting Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), witnessed Mother McAuley's flag football squad knock off Joliet Central by a tally of 26-6.

The Mighty Macs (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Agricultural Science (Chicago, IL). The Cyclones enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Agricultural Science gained a win over Comer (Chicago, IL), 33-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Steelmen battle the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 7. Joliet Central will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Spartans enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 14-12 non-league win over Rosary (Aurora, IL).
