Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN) and the host Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN), saw Eagan's soccer squad hold off Minnetonka by a score of 2-1.

The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Irish go into the Class AA Section 3 bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Rosemount got by Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN), 4-3, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Minnetonka moves to 3-2 on the year. The Skippers host Wayzata (Plymouth, MN) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 10. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Wayzata won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN)
