Fans at Saturday's league battle between the Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH) and the host Edison Wildcats (Richmond, OH), saw Indian Creek's soccer squad triumph over Edison by a score of 7-2.

The Redskins (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV). The Maroon Knights enter the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Wheeling Central Catholic tipped Lewis County (Weston, WV), 6-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Steubenville Big Red (Steubenville, OH) in a Ohio Valley (OVAC) battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Edison will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Big Red enter the battle with a 7-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Dover (Dover, OH).
