Montgomery Red Raiders (Montgomery, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders (Coal Township, PA), 9-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Montgomery advances its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Red Raiders host South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA) to clash with the Mountaineers in a Mid-Penn D4 test on Tuesday, September 10. The Mountaineers come into the test with a record of 5-0. South Williamsport won 1-0 in their recent league test against Benton (Benton, PA)

The Red Raiders now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Schuylkill Haven for a Schuylkill County 4 test on Monday, September 9. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional will clash with a Hurricanes team coming off a 2-2 non-league Twin Valley (Elverson, PA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-1.
