The Wildcats now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to South Spencer for a Pocket challenge on Thursday, September 12. Mt. Vernon will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Washington (Washington, IN). The Rebels record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Tell City moves to 0-5 on the year. The Marksmen travel to Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN) to encounter the Rangers in a Pocket challenge on Tuesday, September 10. The Rangers go into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Forest Park 0-0 in their recent league challenge against North Posey (Poseyville, IN)
