The Red Devils (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles enter the District 9 battle with a 5-4 record.

Next up, the Blue Tornado battle the McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY) in a District 1 battle, on Monday, September 9. Paducah Tilghman will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 7-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Harpeth Hall (Nashville, TN).
