California High School Volleyball - Laguna Creek over Wood

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) and the host Wood Wildcats (Vacaville, CA), witnessed Laguna Creek's volleyball team gain a win over Wood by a margin of 2-0.

The Cardinals now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wheatland for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 7. Laguna Creek will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Las Plumas (Oroville, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Wood drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Sacramento (Sacramento, CA) to clash with the Dragons in a bout on Wednesday, September 18. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 0-5.
