Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) and the visiting South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA), observed Spring Creek's volleyball team hold off South Tahoe by a count of 2-1.

The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, North Valleys was tipped by Lowry (Winnemucca, NV), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vikings meet the Hug Hawks (Reno, NV) in a contest, on Wednesday, September 11. South Tahoe will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
