The Rockets (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Eagles enter the Mid-Illini battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Dunlap tipped Pekin (Pekin, IL), 9-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Tornadoes confront the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Abingdon/Avon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL).
