In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Sault Area Blue Devils soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Cheboygan Chiefs.
The Blue Devils (1-5) will now prepare for their outing against Kingsford (Kingsford, MI). The Flivvers go into the non-league outing with a 7-0 record. In their last outing, Kingsford got by Houghton (Houghton, MI), 6-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Chiefs confront the Charlevoix Rayders (Charlevoix, MI) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 9. Cheboygan will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Rayders go into the outing with a 3-3 record after their 4-0 league loss to Grayling (Grayling, MI).
